Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Director/Sr. Director of Product Management to lead one of the core pillars of our strategies, specifically dealing with our partner ecosystem. In this role, you will drive the strategy, execution, and overall success of this strategic initiative. You will own the product lifecycle from concept to execution, ensuring the platform delivers value to the market, clients, partners. 

This role requires a visionary leader with deep experience in defining and executing winning product strategies, deeply understanding customer problems, and driving teams through strength of vision and influence. 

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Define the strategy for a new product offering focused on leveraging the broad wealth tech ecosystem.
  • Talk to leading customers, partners, and industry experts (internal and expert) to form a problem thesis.
  • Write the Press Release / FAQ (PRFAQ) that tells the big, compelling story from the customers’ perspective. Drive internal alignment and excitement.
  • Partner with engineering and design to rapidly test out the concepts and fully define the launch and GTM strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of the launch and fully own the product line P&L.
  • Create a compelling story for partners to engage, and define and drive the success metrics.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and successful execution of product features.
  • Leverage customer insights, market trends, and performance metrics to continually optimize offerings and the overall user experience.
  • Use financial acumen to evaluate pricing models, cloud service usage, and marketplace business impact, ensuring profitability and scalability.
  • Present strategies, roadmaps, and performance updates to senior leadership, securing buy-in for key initiatives and ensuring marketplace growth aligns with company objectives. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years working on multi-sided marketplaces and/or partner ecosystems. Direct experience working with platforms like AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, or Salesforce AppExchange is essential.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS and Product-led Sales.
  • Ability to engage with engineering teams on complex technical topics related to technical design and architecture relating to cost, feasibility, and scalability.
  • Strong understanding of API ecosystems and the needs of third-party developers in cloud environments.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions based on data and customer feedback.
  • Preferred experience working in financial services or fintech, but not required.
